It has been a busy summer for the Luddites200 project, and as the main part of the anniversary approaches (the first main Luddite attack was in Bulwell, near Nottingham on November 4th 1811) things are hotting up.
Luddites200 is looking for new people to join its main organising group, which is meeting in London on October 23rd. If you are interested in getting more involved in celebrating the aniversary, please let us know.
- The Luddites200 group ran a series of workshops over the summer, including the Dark Mountain festival and the Earth First summer gathering, and have been working on a further series of events for this autumn and next year. See below for details.
